These new organisms that have emerged on this fragment of a new world to come… they’re less fragile than they seem. By exploiting once-polluting microparticles as a food source, they sprout in areas where wind is ever-present. Having few predators, they clump together in dense colonies, covering immense surfaces of alluvial flats, plains where water flowed a long time ago.
